This paper examines the representations of violence, gender, and sexuality as relevant in the religious and Apocalyptic "Book of Revelation," in the Bible, and the post-Apocalyptic play, Marisol by Jose Rivera. The analysis will focus on connections between femaleness and the dichotomy of power and violence.
