This session integrates the Carl Orff and Zoltan Kodąly philosophies of musical pedagogy, exploring simultaneous application into the elementary music classroom using primary musical elements of Melody, Harmony, Form, Timbre, Rhythm, and Dynamics. Lesson plans demonstrating differentiated instructional methods via movement, instruments, improvisation, singing, and listening will also be explored.
